Intern - Summer 2018 Job Description Job Description: Summer Intern OVERVIEW EaglePicher Technologies is offering Summer Internships in the Joplin, MO area for upper level students with majors in various disciplines of Engineering and Science. Internships are paid, temporary positions beginning mid-May and ending mid-August. As temporary positions, no fringe benefits will be provided. Interns will work a full time schedule; work days and shift hours may vary according to the work area, but hours will generally fall Monday through Friday only. ABOUT THE POSITION Work assignments will involve projects that are in-line with the major field of study that the intern is pursuing. We current have summer projects for the following majors: Mechanical Engineers, Chemical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Computer Engineers, Ceramic Engineers, Chemistry, and several other technical disciplines. A presentation will be required at the end of the summer by each student detailing their involvement in the project they were assigned to, and, how this experience, combined with their formal studies, will prepare them for their professional future. HIRING REQUIREMENTS To succeed in this position, you must: · Be pursuing Bachelors or higher level degrees related to the intern project. · Have a minimum 60 credit hours completed; more coursework preferred. · Possess great attention to detail with project follow-through. · Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
