    The Pulmonologist coordinates a course of treatment for patients with a variety of pulmonary and respiratory issues while working with an inter-disciplinary team of nurses, physician assistants, dieticians, surgeons, pathologists and pharmacists. The Pulmonologist will act as an expert in outpatient disease management and prevention in the clinic setting leading a lung center post COVID follow up clinic.

    Required Skills

    • Demonstrated expertise in Pulmonology diagnoses: assessment, intervention, and patient care management. Knowledgeable regarding a Pulmonologist Physician scope of practice.
    • Experience performing and interpreting Pulmonary function testing and Sleep studies.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and conflict resolution abilities.
    • Independent performer.

     

    Required Experience

    • Current California Medical license
    • Graduate from an accredited Medical School
    • Graduate form an accredited Internal Medicine Residency program.
    • Graduate from an accredited Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease Fellowship program.
    • Evidence of continuing education and self-development to support license requirements
    • Board Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine
    • Subspecialty Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease.
    • Board certified or board eligible

     

  • Qualifications
