  • Responsibilities

    This position is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling all administrative aspects of branch/plant operations in support and conjunction with the Manager (District, Branch, and General).

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Coordinate all activities associated with collection of payroll hours worked and other related payroll items.  Activities may include: input of hours, auditing of payroll records, and submission of payroll data.
    2. Responsible for accurate and timely customer billing and collection.
    3. Maintains control of business unit purchase orders and related documents.  Activities may include: auditing for accuracy, timely submission of appropriate forms, and receipt into JDE.
    4. Management of issue/problem resolution.
    5. Performs general support functions to include, supporting managers and sales personnel, resolving personnel questions/issues, and providing administrative support on outages and large projects.
    6. Performs other duties as directed.

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    1. Associates Degree in Accounting preferred.
    2. High School Diploma acceptable.
    3. Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) a must.
    4. Understanding of payroll procedures, taxes and tax requirements is ideal.
    5. Understanding JD Edwards payroll software a plus.
    6. Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.
    7. Experience in HR, Procurement, and Customer Billing/Collection.
    8. Ability to perform and understand written and verbal instruction.
    9. Demonstrates a considerate, friendly, and constructive attitude towards fellow employees and customers.
    10. 1-3 years’ experience in accounting/payroll.
  • Qualifications
    • Perform “First Piece” inspection throughout assigned Product Group Line / Value Stream
    • Perform “Final” inspection throughout assigned Product Group Line / Value Stream
    • Assist Product Group Line / Value Stream in quality problem resolution  
    • Perform in-process audits throughout Product Group Line / Value Stream
    • Document all inspection and testing results
    • Maintain all document files and test records in accurate manner
    • Initiate non-conformance report and assist in corrective/preventive action report determination
    • Perform 100% inspection/sorting as required
    • Assist with writing and updating of inspection procedures and checklists
    • Support actively all H-F Continuous Improvement efforts
    • Verify with Gage Calibration that all inspection standards/gages are calibrated and kept up to date
    • Observe plant safety rules and report any unsafe conditions
    • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
