Rosemount is signature brand of Emerson, offering a comprehensive line of measurement instrumentation, analyzers and systems which are used in a wide range of applications found in critical processing facilities such as refineries, chemical plants, power plants, pipelines, and more. ** ** Description The Engineering Tools Digital Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, strategy and adoption of customer facing engineering tools across the global organization. This person will also be responsible for driving marketing programs aimed at achieving KPIs and driving profitability in the organization. Responsibility includes but is not limited to: mobile application strategy, online product advisors, visual configurators, 3D drawings and connected data transfer tools. Responsibilities * Participates in the execution of Online Engineering products that support Emerson growth plans. Product responsibilities include Instrument Advisor mobile app and the online tool replacements for Instrument Toolkit including product advisors, configurators and Project Data Link data transfer tool. * Under general supervision executes on the product development roadmap, both new and enhancements, for industry leading digital customer experiences * Navigate organization to drive process improvements, interaction efficiency, and deliver overall value to other parts of the organization * May assist in the monitoring of customer experiences across digital touch points using Human Centered Design principles * Participates on cross-functional project teams to help deliver necessary inputs to digital projects * Seeks out process improvements including opportunities to use new and existing technology in digital projects. * Actively monitor the users, usage, conversions, interactions, business outcomes, health and security of the digital products and work with supervision to identify address improvement opportunities. * Guides marketing plans meant to engage customers with the digital customer experience products, supported by the Marketing organization and clearly differentiated from competitors * Work with Digital Marketing leadership to ensure a coordinated effort & communication across Rosemount and other business units. * Provide input to global digital and IT priorities * Demonstrate an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, and a desire to challenge conventional methods and processes.
