    Catch, insert and pack finished products coming off the presses.  Review final product performing a series of quality checks before loading in to trays or bins.  Perform finishing make ready tasks prior to start-ups.  Assist with machine make ready and clean up as needed.  Follow postal guidelines when packing direct mail orders and completing skid tags.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Job responsibilities are carried out in a work environment that consists of both recurring and non-recurring work situations. Job involves a moderate degree of detail and complexity. Job tasks will be performed under minimal supervision. Decisions are made within prescribed company policy guidelines and constraints; however, independent judgment is expected in identifying and resolving discrepancies. Errors can cause delays in delivery of goods or result in CBP penalties. Excessive errors may ultimately impact Enersys’s import/export processes, and result in a higher risk designation by CBP as well as increase the company’s exposure to penalties.     INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS:

    Contacts occur with others inside of Enersys as well as with third party warehouse staff, CBP officers, customs brokers, third party service providers, and government officials. 

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum two years relevant experience in transportation management (domestic and international)
    • Experience with Import and Export Shipments
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
    • Experience with Import and Export Compliance
    • Knowledgeable of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Patrol (CBP), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR).
    • Candidates must have excellent attention to detail and the mental capability to troubleshoot and solve problems of high complexity or difficulty, as well as problem solve in a proactive, methodical manner. Must be able to work effectively under the pressure of deadlines and comprehend complex issues.
    • Candidates for this position should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and be capable of working as part of a team or alone.

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
    • Possession of a Broker’s License
    • Knowledge of SAP or ERP
    • Certified in IMDG & IATA Hazardous Materials and Department of Transportation Regulations a plus
