    About This Role:

    As an Engineering Document Management Associate III, you will play a pivotal role as the Site Administrator of the Electronic Data Management System (EDMS), BRIDGE Meridian. Your responsibilities will include the management of document creation and modifications within the EDMS for your assigned site. A key part of your role will be executing and overseeing CAD changes initiated by site engineers and managing the implications of these changes on site drawings during projects led by Global Engineering & Facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all documentation meets Biogen's stringent procedures and GxP standards, contributing significantly to the integrity of our engineering operations. You will be the linchpin that connects CAD users, engineers, and external suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of Biogen's Quality Management System and in fostering continuous improvement within the engineering documentation realm.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Serve as the primary Site Administrator for the BRIDGE Meridian EDMS.
    • Manage document creation, updates, and changes within the EDMS, ensuring compliance with Biogen procedures.
    • Execute CAD changes and control site drawing alterations in collaboration with Global Engineering & Facilities.
    • Generate and disseminate reports to stakeholders and manage CAD activities using both internal and external resources.
    • Organize and manage controls for engineering documentation such as ETOPs.
    • Maintain and update drawings in AUTOCAD and BRIDGE Meridian, adhering to GxP requirements.
    • Manage the interconnection of drawings within BRIDGE Meridian and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Coordinate with suppliers for the acquisition and handover of engineering drawings.
    • Act as the primary contact for A/E companies and suppliers during the drawing handover process.
    • Review and manage engineering tags, pipe line numbers, and drawing numbers to align with Biogen standards.
    • Provide support across departments for drawing research and retrieval.
    • Train and guide stakeholders in the use of BRIDGE Meridian, AUTOCAD, TRUEVIEW, and related engineering standards.
    • Develop performance reports for the documentation/drawing revision control process and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Manage supplier draftsmen teams during project execution to ensure timely drawing updates.
    • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all site engineering documentation queries and issues.

    Required:

    • High School Diploma
    • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
    • Technical training in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and drawings management.
    • Extensive knowledge and proficiency in AUTOCAD and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
    • Familiarity with IT systems and network infrastructure.
    • Comprehensive understanding of GMP equipment lifecycle documentation.
    • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and engage with various stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated experience in training and development of staff on technical systems and processes.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive process improvements.

    Additional Information

    The base salary range for this position is $63,000 - $82,000. Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
