Accounts payable specialists ensure employees are reimbursed for business expenses and vendors are paid for services and products rendered. The primary duties for this role include processing expense reports and invoices, responding to inquiries, and maintaining accounting department systems.

Responsibilities and Duties
Process expense report for payment
Ensuring that the travel policy is in alignment with IRS tax regulations
Process vendor invoices for payment
Vendor setup, creation, and maintenance
Payment processing such as check printing and ACH
Perform reconciliation between expense reports and invoices for directly billed costs
Scanning, batching, and filing accounting documents
General Ledger entry
Account Analysis (Sub ledgers)
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
0~3 Years’ experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
Some experience with accounting software is preferred
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Sales/Use tax knowledge
Preferred Skills/Technical Skills
Willing to learn and perform any department task including filing and scanning
Has good communication skill
Can organize tasks and routines efficiently
Mindful of deadlines and understand the utmost importance of meeting due dates
