  • Responsibilities

    As an Entry-Level Field Engineer at KEYENCE, you will get to operate daily on the world’s most innovative Factory Automation products in manufacturing facilities across the country. Your day to day could include assembling, installing, connecting, coding, and diagnosing KEYENCE products on some of the most advanced lines in the industry.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Regular travel to customer sites in order to:
      • Assist with integration of KEYENCE equipment (product mounting, configuration setup, etc.) on machine shop and factory production floors.
      • Verify proper operation of KEYENCE products according to project specification.
      • Optimize KEYENCE product configuration, including mechanical and digital adjustments.
      • Provide guidance on product integration, operation, and use.
      • Diagnose KEYENCE products for improper configuration and/or operation.
    • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions to include recording details of inquiries, requests and complaints as well as actions taken.
    • Compile post visit work summary reports.
    • Prepare KEYENCE equipment for customer use.

    Travel 50-60% of the time to include overnight travel on short notice. 3rd shift, weekend, and holiday travel may be required depending on market need.

  • Qualifications
    • 2-year degree, preferably with a manufacturing, engineering, electronics, or maintenance technology focus
    • Ability to lift 30-70 lbs. of equipment, including 20-30 lbs. overhead.
    • Ability to climb a step ladder.
    • Ability to use hand tools and electronic devices.
    • A valid Driver’s license is required.
    • Must be proficient in the English Language, secondary language is a plus.

    $64,845 Total Comp (Mix of Base pay and bonus pay)
