  • Responsibilities

    Job Summary

    The EHS Intern will have direct involvement in EHS program management at the site.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the review/development of EHS training and policy documents to ensure OSHA compliance.
    • Assist with environmental reporting.
    • Will conduct a plant chemical inventory of all present chemicals for SafHear (GAIA)/3E database and compare that inventory to the chemicals in the manufacturing facility.
    • Daily general support of staff as it relates to EHS programs/priorities.
    • Work on other activities as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing degree (Bachelors or Masters) within Occupational Health/Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field
    • Classes in EHS related field(s)
    • Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Desire to learn and contribute on the manufacturing floor
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and demanding timelines
    • Familiarity using Microsoft Office Suite to correspond, analyze and summarize information (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook)
