    The Challenge

    GE Appliances is looking for a Financial Analyst to serve as an integral part of the Treasury team for the North American headquarters of Haier US Appliance Solutions, Inc. In this role you will be assisting with the day-to-day treasury operations of an 11-billion-dollar business. You will add value by forecasting cash flows on a short, medium, and long term basis. You will also maintain and develop reporting and insight packages for Executive Leadership, and continuously seek new ways to improve the company’s Corporate Treasury processes.

    What You Will Do

    • Perform daily corporate cash management and forecasting activities
    • Monitor and manage the Company’s daily cash and ensures adequate liquidity
    • Support corporate cash forecasting
    • Prepare and interprets cash flow projections
    • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of wire payments
    • Calculate interest accruals and payments on debts instruments and resolve differences with the banks, if necessary
    • Prepare presentation materials for Executive Leadership (understanding cash inflows and outflows)
    • Plays a crucial role in implementing and updating GTreasury
    • Recommend and implement improvements to the current cash management process to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize costs
    • Serve as the system administrator for all bank accounts and the Treasury workstation
    • Participate in special projects and performs- other duties as assigned

    What You Need to Succeed

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
    • Minimum 3 years of finance or relevant treasury-related experience
    • Ability to work independently and under tight timelines
    • Flexible and team-oriented personality
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certified Treasury Professional designation (CTP)
    • Familiarity with Oracle ERP system, Treasury Workstations, and Banking Systems
