Responsibilities This internship within our Discovery Biology team of professionals will be located at our FMC STINE Research Center in Newark, Delaware ? participate in the day to day screening operation to detect, optimize and characterize new active areas with potential as fungicides. duties may include propagating plant test units, culturing and harvesting plant pathogens using sterile technique, spraying experimental chemicals and evaluating tests. a special project tailored to each intern's interests will be completed under the guidance of a primary investigator and may include developing a new bioassay, optimizing current methodologies or improving equipment used for screening understand all laboratory safety and environmental stewardship training as required for safe operation At the completion of this internship you will have the opportunity to present a summary of your experiences and/or research project to the?R&D scientific department?you are aligned. ? Administration: As a STEM?Intern?you will also be responsible to complete administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner, follow safety protocol and perform other tasks assigned to assist within our team. Required Education Required Education: The success candidate will be currently enrolled as a rising third or fourth year student within an accredited undergraduate program with a focus on Biology or Microbiology.?
