Your Role: As the Battery Systems Intern, youll be working with some of the industrys brightest minds to assist in the design and development of HV battery pack components. You will be responsible for assisting the team in the development of the HV battery pack by performing hands-on component assembly tasks, data analysis, concept generation, and predictive performance analysis using textbook calculations. Basic Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Mechanical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering program Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude with a keen eye in identifying technical issues Experience using common lab equipment and garage tools (i.e. multimeter, oscilloscope, data acquisition, torque wrench, floor jack, etc.) Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms with managers, colleagues, supplier, etc. Organizational and planning capabilities Passion for everything automotive Experience working in a lab environment Preferred Qualifications: Completed Kinematics, Solids, Thermodynamics, Fluids, and Heat Transfer courses Test engineering, safety engineering, or automotive engineering experience CAD experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.)
