    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    During the candidate's time in the program, rotational assignments are available in Accounting and Finance departments throughout Carrier's Segments (Fire & Security, Refrigeration, HVAC, and Corporate Headquarters). The program will provide you with front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch your capabilities and improve your learning. Each associate will have the opportunity to experience different functional rotations, which may include Controllers & Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Operations/Factory Finance, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, etc. Rotations are based in finance hubs (Florida, North Carolina) and on business needs (i.e. Indiana, Georgia, etc.). The program provides training and a continuing educational focus to supplement the rotational experience through development courses and various case studies. The FLP associate will also receive mentoring and guidance from Carrier executives and FLP alumni. In addition to the training provided within the program, associates are eligible to utilize the Employee Scholar Program and other exclusive Carrier benefits.

    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

    Selection for the Carrier Financial Leadership Program will be based on the following minimum criteria:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, and Business

    • Relevant internships or co-op experiences referred

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Applicant must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

    • COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees

    • Strong academic performance, GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA (3.2 Preferred)

    • Must be geographically mobile

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Collaborative

    • Takes initiative

    • Strong time management / organization / ability to multi-task

    • Efficient PC skills in Excel & PowerPoint

    • Leadership roles in extracurricular organizations
