JOB SUMMARY

SAGEGLASS®, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, located in Faribault, MN, produces electronically tintable glass for windows, skylights, and curtain walls. It tints automatically or on demand to control sunlight, without shades or blinds. SageGlass transforms the indoor experience by controlling sunlight to optimize daylight, outdoor views and comfort while preventing glare, fading and overheating without the need for blinds or shades.

We are hiring a FINANCE SPECIALIST to work alongside our talented Finance Team! This will be a hybrid schedule.

WHAT’S THE JOB?

This position is responsible for assisting with multiple functions on the Finance team, including but not limited to Invoicing, Sales order verification/confirmation, Internal Controls Audit functions, reporting and analysis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Invoicing Customers and monitoring the backlog report to ensure accuracy

• Sales order verification and confirmation

• Reconciles financial information by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances, while reviewing for discrepancies. Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos. Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and recording entries. Assists by making Journal Entries and Ledger Reconciliations as needed

• Creates, runs and distributes reports as needed to support other departments, reporting and analyzing data to ensure budget to actual numbers. Partners with internal and external customers

• Assists with month end processing, inventory, internal audit controls and project support as needed

• Assists in the creation of and adherence to accounting procedures to ensure compliance with ICRF

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred

• At least 2 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting department making journal entries, reporting and analysis of financial data

• Ability to work closely with internal and external customers while maintaining necessary confidentiality and control of financial data

• Ability to work independently, follow instructions and complete tasks, asking questions as appropriate
