We are looking for Finance Interns to join our Shared Services team this Summer at GE Appliances, a Haier company in Louisville, Kentucky. Our Shared Services team provides world-class collections services, risk analysis and customer experiences.

The internship will last from the beginning of June through the beginning to mid-August. Interns will work onsite in Louisville at our Forum location. Relocation and housing are not provided in this program.

Finance Summer Intern- Shared Services

HOW YOU'LL CREATE POSSIBILITIES

• Support the Shared Services Team with assigned project work and collections calls.

• Gather and organize required documentation such as invoices, proof of deliveries, and waivers.

• Utilize MS Excel and Access for customer account research, statement creation, and account reconciliation.

• Utilize customer or 3rd party web portals for research and resolution of past due invoices and deductions.

• Research unapplied cash and credits and reconcile with customer invoices or deductions.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO OUR TEAM

• Active pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite - including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

• Ability to multi-task in several systems for billing, accounts receivables, and other outside systems

• Must be comfortable dealing with external and internal customers.

• Strong oral and written communication skills
