    Job Summary

    In this role you'll be the owner of customer program activities related to rebates, co-operative spend, sales allowance, and cost sharing. You'll have direct interaction with sales team, commercial finance manager, and upper management to clearly convey a structured, proactive, and unbiased view of current and proposed customer programs. Drives financial and accounting aspects of customer programs to ensure strategic and profitable long term growth. The role is a mix of transactional processing and analysis with the potential to grow into a business partner.

    Your day would look like:

    • Managing Customer Program activities associated with the Automotive Aftermarket and Do-It-Yourself markets totaling approx. 1,300 agreements
    • Creating agreements in the Vistex database and validation of payout calculations
    • Profit and Loss scenario analysis for current and proposed programs
    • Creating and maintaining reporting associated with area of responsibility using MicroStrategy & Power BI
    • Assisting in the annual budget process
    • Leading ad hoc analysis for sales team and mgmt.
    • Ensuring adherence of internal controls

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Marketing or equivalent broad based finance/marketing experience.
    • 3-5 years’ minimum experience in varied areas of accounting/finance/sales & marketing
    • Advanced Excel skills required including V-Lookup and Pivot tables.
    • Must be able to work, and communicate, with all professional levels.
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize and pivot as necessary.

    Preferred

    • Experience in manufacturing or related industry.
    • Experience working directly with upper management for strategic decisions.
    • Some knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
    • Experience with financial reporting software tools (Power BI)
