    As a Finance Development Program (FDP) Associate, you’ll be a part of an intensive 3-year rotational program that provides participants with critical leadership and technical skills through in-depth assignments, training, ongoing coaching, and feedback.

    This unique program will provide you with a breadth and depth of experience across multiple facets within the finance organization. Not only will you strengthen your technical skills, but you’ll also develop your leadership potential working alongside our senior strategic leaders.

    Through the FDP, GE Appliances provides an opportunity to earn your MBA from one of our regional partners as you develop your practical financial skills and understanding of advanced business theory.

    How You'll Create Possibilities

    • Hands-on Rotational assignments within the following concentrations: Operating Finance roles in Sales, Manufacturing, and Product Management; Foundational roles in Controllership and Financial Planning & Analysis.
    • Within those roles, the following duties/responsibilities may be required:
      • Preparing daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial/cost reports, statements, or exhibits.
      • Gathering, reviewing, and analyzing financial information.
      • Providing strategic support and operational decision-making through detailed financial analysis.
      • Performing internal controls assessments to ensure adequate controls are in place.
      • Championing process improvement in each rotation, including reporting simplification and automation.
      • Presenting key financial data and analysis to a broad audience up to and including senior leadership.
    • Participation in professional and leadership skills training provided both onsite and offsite in the form of intensive and interactive seminars.
    • Mentoring and networking opportunities to include FDP/Manager outings, job shadowing, and exposure to Senior Executives.

    What You'll Bring to Our Team

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Management, Accounting, or related field (received in the prior year).
    • Prior year Summer FDP Internship at GE Appliances.
    • Academic excellence; 3.0 GPA minimum.
    • Authorization to work in the US on a permanent, full-time basis is required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Graduates with a strong interest in Finance career.
    • Prior intern or co-op experience in the financial field.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills.

    Working Conditions

    • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
    • The ability to reside and work in the Louisville, KY area is required. Comprehensive relocation packages are available.
