    Responsibilities

    • Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
    • Inspect, diagnose, and repair wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems.
    • Perform break/fix service work, including replacing damaged piping, valves, fittings, and system components.
    • Install, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and repack fire pumps and related equipment.
    • Work with large-diameter pipe and perform complex piping modifications in both service and installation environments.
    • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and system drawings to complete work accurately.
    • Identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and communicate findings clearly with customers and management.
    • Verify material requirements and coordinate with the Field Supervisor to ensure projects remain on schedule.
    • Organize tools, equipment, and materials before arriving at job sites.
    • Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites.
    • Represent Eagle Fire professionally while providing exceptional customer service.
    • Complete required documentation and inspection reports accurately and on time.
    • Participate in continuing education and licensing requirements.
    • Work overtime or travel overnight as business needs require.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience inspecting, servicing, repairing, and installing fire sprinkler systems.
    • Strong experience working on wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
    • Experience troubleshooting and repairing existing sprinkler systems in occupied commercial and industrial facilities.
    • Experience servicing fire pumps, including rebuilding, repacking, troubleshooting, and repairs, strongly preferred.
    • Experience working with large-diameter pipe and performing break/fix repairs.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, hydraulic calculations, and system drawings.
    • Proficient using industry tools including groovers, threaders, pipe cutters, lifts, and testing equipment.
    • Working knowledge of NFPA codes and applicable state and local fire protection regulations.
    • NICET Level II in Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems or applicable North Carolina state sprinkler license preferred. Candidates who do not currently possess these credentials but have the necessary field experience will be supported through Eagle Fire's certification and licensing reimbursement program.
    • Fire sprinkler manufacturer certifications are a plus.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
    • Ability to lift, climb, crouch, crawl, work from ladders and lifts, and perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
    • Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
