WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

What’s the job?

• Must have all qualifications of Millwright 1 st Class
• Sets up and operates machine tools, and fits and assembles parts to make or repair metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines
• Applies knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout and machining procedures
• Studies specifications, such as blueprints, sketches, damaged parts, or description of part to be replaced
• Determine dimensions and tolerances of piece to be machined, sequence of operations and tools, materials, and machining operations required.
• Measures, marks and scribes dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining
• Must be able to weld to a sufficient quality for building up worn and/or otherwise damaged items, in preparation for re-machining

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

• High School diploma or GED is required (Journeyman status is preferred)
• At least 4-years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and power transmission equipment
• Must be computer proficient, experience with SAP as well as popular PM software would be a plus
• No travel requirements
