We are seeking new associates who are motivated to contribute their talents to making cost-effective solar energy an important part of the worlds energy mix. - Primary Job Functions: Expected Length of Internship: * We are looking for someone who is able to commit to Spring 2019 Semester (approximately January 2019 May 2019). * As an internship company, we allow flexibility to enroll in classes while working as an intern, as long as it doesnt interfere with the essential functions of the position. Experience: * Has familiarity with and a passion for leveraging digital channels and social media channels for either personal and/or professional communications * Graphic design and video production experience a plus Education: * Is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field of study * Is currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior OR a minimum of 1 previous internship in Marketing or a related field for a period of 3 months or greater * Must be filling a graduation requirement for their degree * First Solar encourages all interns to register with their University Required Skills/Competencies: * Has strong written and verbal skills; fluency in English required * Is a self-starter someone who is innately motivated and inspires others with their positive attitude and energy * Can work both independently and in group settings comfortably Basic Internship Scope (Project): * Support the Implementation of integrated B2C marketing activity plans that drive increased awareness and consideration of our employer brand within critical labor market segments * Lead a minimum of on Talent Acquisition branding project such as creating a marketing plan for sponsored ads on the First Solar Careers social media pages * Create, write and edit copy for a range of communication materials including social media posts, recruiting related collateral and signage * Manage tracking and measurement of marketing campaign analytics, delivering monthly report for all critical segments. * Respond to stakeholders requests involving recruitment-marketing efforts, analytics and ad hoc reporting on status of global initiatives. * Complete competitor benchmarking reviews to ensure differentiation * Be active ambassador of the operational excellence within the team by maintaining and improving existing tools and programs in use to make our work more efficient. * Support execution of all other employer branding activities such as the First Solar Talent Community monthly newsletter, video production projects and various candidate experience initiatives. * Upon the completion of this internship, the intern is required to present their accomplishments and project summary to the leadership team.
