  • Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY: Position is responsible for cash management related activities of the Corporate Treasury function. In this role, incumbent directly impacts working capital, debt management, and investment or borrowing decisions. Responsibilities will include cash forecasting, financial transactions – including both cash receipts and disbursements, making investment or borrowing decisions, recommending and implementing efficient treasury and cash management systems, training departmental staff, preparing management reports, maintaining cash and banking information, and assisting the department manager in other Treasury related activities. 

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Develop, implement, maintain, and analyze cash forecasting and daily cash positioning processes and systems.
    • Execute and provide oversight and control function in execution of electronic funds transfers.
    • Decision short-term borrowing and short-term investment actions in accordance with approved policies.  
    • Interact with various domestic and international cross functional departments and external banks to manage global bank accounts and to resolve administrative, reconciliation or other issues.
    • Ensure the preparation and submission of appropriate documentation for the generation of automated entries relating to financial transactions for proper general ledger posting and reconciliation is complete.
    • Develop and analyze key indicator reports on forecasting, cash in bank, borrowings, investments, foreign exchange, and other Treasury related activities for distribution to Senior Management.   
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley reporting requirements. Assist auditors in periodic testing of internal controls. Assist in activities related to personnel adherence to Corporate Treasury’s Policies and Procedures.
    • Obtain and consolidate information from international subsidiaries relating to monthly intercompany payables and resulting foreign currency exposures. Execute FX transactions with banks to settle balances.
    • Analyze, recommend and implement alternative cash and banking systems and procedures to efficiently control and manage cash. Communicate with external banks to review banking services provided and to evaluate alternative products and services. Train staff on new systems or procedures as appropriate.
    • Support capital structure, revolver borrowings and compliance efforts as required.
    • Perform analysis to identify and recommend opportunities to reduce costs.
    • Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.
    • Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
