The Process Development Engineering Intern is an entry-level member of a multidisciplinary engineering team that is responsible for developing new probe technologies for semiconductor wafer testing. This role will be introduced to process engineering techniques and will be contributing to the creation and improvement of unit process modules and integrated process flows in FFIs thin film flex circuit fab. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Hands on processing of thin film substrate runs. Design and execution of experiments including analysis of results and recommendations for next steps. Integration of process modules into full flows. Selection of materials and process equipment, including specification, evaluation, installation and implementation. Contribute to cross-functional teams to successfully solve complex unit process and/or integration challenges EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or related field. Basic knowledge of semiconductor processing or laboratory techniques. Working knowledge of SPC/DOE principles and analytical thinking skills. Proficiency in JMP is a plus. Proficiency with MS Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability work in a team environment. Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing protective clothing such as a bunny suit and goggles for extended periods of time. Ability to understand and follow safety procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and project management skills.
