    POSITION SUMMARY AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsible for the final inspection of the ESP system to ensure all products conform to the company’s quality standards. Verify completeness and accuracy of equipment per the job specifications. Complete inspection reports, related paperwork, and ensure all information is recorded accurately.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school education or equivalent
    • 2+ years inspection experience preferred
    • Experience in a manufacturing and/or quality environment
    • Experience with Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) equipment preferred

     

     TECHNICAL SKILLS 

    • Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of standard measurement techniques commonly used in a machine shop, i.e. calipers, rulers, scales, electrical meters
    • Attention to detail
    • Time management
    • Ability to communicate (read, write and speak) in English

    GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

     

    MEDIUM WORK: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

     

    PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

    • STOOPING: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles.
    • KNEELING: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
    • CROUCHING: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
    • REACHING: Extending hand(s) and arms(s) in any direction.
    • STANDING: Particularly for sustained periods of time.
    • WALKING: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks or moving from work side to another.
    • PUSHING: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.
    • PULLING: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
    • LIFTING: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.
    • FINGERING: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
    • GRASPING: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
    • FEELING: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
    • TALKING: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
    • HEARING: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
    • REPETITIVE MOTION: Substantial movement (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

     

     

    VISUAL ACUITY 

    • The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection), using measurement devices, and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
    • The employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
    • The employee is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • INDOOR AND OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS. Activities occur indoors and outdoors.
    • EXTREME COLD. Temperatures below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
    • EXTREME HEAT. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
    • HAZARDS. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.
    • ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
    • OILS. There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

     

    • HOS courses are CTE courses. Faculty must have an FRCC CTE Credential to teach in the field.

    MINIMUM REQUIRED: 

    • A related associates (or relevant current industry license or certification) and 4000 verified occupational/industry hours within 7 years;
    • OR, a related Bachelor’s or any Master’s degree with 18 discipline related credits and 2000 verified occupational/industry hours within 7 years.

     

     

    RELATED DEGREE, CREDENTIAL, AND/OR OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE in Culinary Arts, Customer Service, Convention Management, Service Management, Event Planning, Hospitality HR, Business, Business Management, Leadership, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Public Policy, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance

     

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS
