    The Channel Marketing Specialist - Consumer Power is responsible for assisting the channel marketing team in driving revenue and margin growth within assigned channels and product categories. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across the enterprise to develop and execute innovative marketing plans to support new products and channel initiatives in alignment with company growth goals. This position reports to the Channel Marketing Manager.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Partner with Channel Marketing Manager to support all marketing and communication activities within assigned channel including planning, budgeting, project management, execution, and success metrics
    • Build, deploy, measure, and optimize all channel partner communications including list management, message development, tracking and reporting
    • Manage trade-focused websites including owning product, promotions and training content, reporting on site analytics and propose suggestions on how to improve
    • Build, test, and deploy product and program support materials designed for our channel partners to promote Generac brands
    • Create and deploy social media for use by channel partners in support of Generac brands
    • Manage all data and content deployed to our partners through 3rd party syndication
    • Ensure product information accuracy and optimization for all brands and all products
    • Assure all Channel Partners and buying groups have access to current and accurate product information
    • Add/sync more channel partners where available
    • Provide project management support for strategic growth initiatives
    • Partner with channel marketing manager to manage channel co-op program with revisions and updates on new programs, processes, and guidelines
    • Add/sunset assets and digital programs in support of overall program growth goals and report on dealer adoption, asset usage and user experience (NPS)

    MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
    • 1+ years of working experience in B2B or B2C marketing environment

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong analytical skills including the ability to work with spreadsheets and databases
    • Proven track record of successfully managing shifting deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational and project management skills

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of consumer marketing techniques
    • Strong drive for results

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
