GDIT is constantly bidding on new contracts, and a key part of a successful bid is determining the right labor categories to execute the mission. This role partners with the companys Growth function to pursue new business opportunities for GDIT.The Job Mapping Specialist will match government labor categories to internal GDIT titles as well as to appropriate Service Contract Act categories where appropriate. It also means matching to market survey jobs to give our Pricing team the best market data available. This requires a thorough analysis of job duties, the ability to find the best survey matches as well as accurate application of FLSA exemption tests. The ideal candidates will have experience in compensation (particularly job matching and survey participation), pricing or proposals, and a strong understanding of the Fair Labor Standards Act and Service Contract Act.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Map government contract labor categories to GDIT job titlesApply FLSA exemption tests and map non-exempt jobs to the appropriate SCA categoriesProvide market data and geographic salary differentialsWork directly with Pricing team and Program Managers to identify areas of concern and explain mapping decisions and FLSA/SCA implicationsMaintain mapping files and related documentationSupport Compensation Department projects, including job description development and merit cycle administration.Participate in special projects as needed, and perform other job related duties as required. Education Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
