Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of Sourcing, Locating,
Tracking, Import/Export, of systems for the refurbishment process at
Ambassador Medical. All aspects from Locating, Negotiating, Logistics,
Tracking, Delivery, Definition for Production, Cutting Purchase Orders,
Accounts Payables, adding suppliers (ASL) and will support the OTR/OPSI
Team as required on other special projects. Essential Responsibilities:
- Source Systems through various suppliers, customers, GE sites, etc. as
required to ensure all profitable systems are procured for GE Ambassador
Medical to refurbish. * Negotiate as required to purchase systems within
the blue book range to ensure profitability of GE Ambassador Medical. *
Initiate Item code creation for any new systems being entered into
Oracle. * Create Purchase Orders as required in Oracle to procure the
systems. * Work with Freight Forwarders for both Import and Export
requirements, creating all required documentation to ensure shipment
completely thru customs and delivery to GE Ambassador Medical or out to
other regions. * Work to ensure all Import / Export processes are
clearly defined and accessible to others as required to help support the
process. * Ensure upon receipt that systems are defined as to the
upgraded required for the proper BT Levels. * Be able to track shipments
thru freight companies to ensure receipt of all assets. * Maintain and
ensure accuracy of paperwork files as required to meet GE good
documentation practices. * Work on other special projects as defined by
the OTR OPSI Manager. * Learn and support other purchasing activities
such as Direct/Indirect purchasing and Siebel order entry.
Qualifications/Requirements:Qualifications: 1. High School diploma/GED
and at least 1 year of experience in customer service or field support
operations 2. Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
products 3. Ability to communicate using English 4. Strong focus on
customer care and satisfaction 5. Demonstrated ability to work under
pressure and to meet deadlines and commitments Desired
