    JOB TITLE:            COORDINATOR, SALES & OPERATIONS SUPPORT

    LOCATION:            ATLANTA, GA

    REPORTS TO:        SUPERVISOR, SALES & OPERATIONS SUPPORT 

    MISSION / SUMMARY: A Sales and Operations Support Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to complete tactical and strategic processes associated with servicing a specific set of customer accounts. This person will have responsibility for the day to day management for all aspects for an assigned account or accounts. They understand and align the process with Sales, Operations, Logistics, Design, Graphics, and the Sales and Operations Support group and as he/she executes their role in the overall order fulfillment process to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, financial and operational objectives. 

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

    • Provide accurate and continual communications to internal and external customers regarding order fulfillment status and specifics as appropriate (inventory, transportation, invoicing, etc.)
    • Achieve all goals associated with Business Unit Key Performance Indicator’s for specific accounts and responsibilities.
    • Support Sales and Operations Support Supervisor and Manger to execute daily responsibilities and meet objectives associated with all order fulfillment activities.
    • Develop strong relationships with internal and external customer contacts.

     

    IDEALLY THE INDIVIDUAL THAT WOULD BE A STRONG FIT FOR THIS POSITION WOULD HAVE SOME OF THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES;

    • Four-year degree in applicable field of study or compensatory work experience is required.
    • Positive and progressive order fulfillment experience preferred.
    • Solid understanding of customer account management.
    • General understanding and experience with ERP business applications. A working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
    • Demonstrated understanding of /ability to manage the impact of order fulfillment on cash flow.
    • Ability to travel (5-10%)

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 

    • General hours of work are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST). Overtime is frequently required (5-10 hours a week) during peak periods.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and verbally respond. The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle and feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision. Employee is required to wear steel toe shoes, safety glasses and hearing protecting when in our manufacturing environments.
