  • Responsibilities

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Assist Credit Department to maintain AR Portfolio and Risk Management.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include the following; other duties may be assigned)

    In addition to back up support, for others in the Department.

    • Assist with support activities.
    • Maintain and update collection call as required by Regional Credit Manager.
    • Assist with Management Reporting Activities.
    • Suggest and recommend credit lines for customers based on the approval matrix.
    • Provide regular reports to Regional Credit Manager.
    • Prepare paperwork for collection correspondence.
    • Release orders for accounts that go on hold based on the approval matrix.
    • Assist Regional Credit Manager as needed.
    • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Attention to detail.
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and MS Word.
    • Ability to perform all essential duties required for Credit Associates.
    • Exposure to financial data analysis.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    ELECTRICAL, CONSTRUCTION, INDUSTRIAL AND/OR DISTRIBUTION EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED;

     

    • High School diploma or G.E.D.; or
    • Construction Lien experience preferred but not required;
    • 1 - 3 years' in an Accounts Receivable role; or
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Qualifications
    • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
    • Must possess effective time management, problem solving, and organizational skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work with people and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
    • Degree from undergraduate institution is strongly preferred.

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
    • External candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years experience managing Human Resources in a unionized manufacturing environment
    • Experience managing multiple labor related activities such as grievance process, arbitrations, contract negotiation preparation to include contingency planning, participating in the negotiation process
