    We currently have immediate openings for a career-minded individual to join our team as a Finishing Helper. This is a great opportunity to start a career with a company invested in your success. The position will be active in developing a culture of an incident-free workplace, continuous improvement, and results-orientated success. The plant is a 24/7 operation. Successful applicants must be available to work all shifts and overtime.

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • 18 years or older
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Able and willing to work all days and shifts, including weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime
    • Able to work 8 or 12 hours as required plus overtime
    • Able to work days, swing, or night shift based on seniority
    • Able to work weekends 
    • Able to work holidays as needed
    • Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
    • Pass post-offer physical
    • Manufacture packaging materials with a high-speed web process
    • Hand pack products for shipment
    • Maintain consistent quality
    • Perform basic assembly
    • Perform repetitive tasks in an assembly setting
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    • Use standing fork truck to place pallets onto warehouse train for pickup

     

    SKILLS THAT WOULD BE A PLUS:

    • Experience with Flexo printing or paper converting
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

     

    HOURLY RATE:

    • $17.16/hour

     

    SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL:

    12-HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULE

    • $0.40/hour Day shift
    • $0.90/hour Nights

     

    8-HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULE

    • $0.30/hour Swing shift
    • $0.40/hour Nights

     

    12-HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULE PART OF THE YEAR AND 8 HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULE PART OF THE YEAR:

               

    12-HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULE

     

    • Days 6:30 am to 6:30 pm shift pattern of 2-2-3
    • Nights 6:30 pm to 6:30 pm shift pattern of 4-3-3-4

     

    8-HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULE:

    • Days 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
    • Swing 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm
    • Nights 10:30 pm to 6:30 pm

     

    UNION:

    • AWPPW (Association of Western Pulp and Paper Workers)
