  • Responsibilities

     University is seeking submissions for a PeopleSoft Technical Developer to provide system design, development, and testing services.   University recently went live on the University System of Georgia’s One USG HCM, payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Employee and Manager Self-Service, and Commitment Accounting.

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

    • 10+ years of PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll technical development consultant experience with PeopleSoft clients.
    • PeopleSoft 9.x experience.
    • Proficiency in Oracle 11g or higher is required.
    • Competence in Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, and Component Interface.
    • Functional understanding of key processes in HR, Time and Labor, Absence Management, ESS, MSS, and North American Payroll modules is desirable.
    • Experience with the following: Integration Broker, Application Security, Self Service configuration, AWE.
    • Maintain, troubleshoot and fix errors in existing applications systems.
    • Collaborate with the implementation team (Business Analysts, testers, developers and administrators).
    • Support implementation team on current issues.
    • Strong problem solving experience.
    • BS or MS in Computer Science preferred.

     

    SOFT SKILLS

    • Strong problem solving experience.
    • Excellent verbal skills, including conducting/leading client meetings, conducting presentations and advising implementation team on technical issues.
    • Assist in planning production roll-out and deployment related activities.
    • Create and maintain documentation and standards.
    • Create and maintain thorough and complete technical documentation of all ERP PeopleSoft customizations and reports.
    • Work with onsite and off-site teams to support PeopleSoft development/processing.

     

    The project will require time on-site at the Athens GA project location, although there will also be occasions where this position will need to work the functional analysts that will be based at  University located in Atlanta.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications

    Education- A high school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree in fitness related fields are preferred. College courses related to anatomy and physiology or related experience is accepted. Certifications

    • Nationally recognized accredited group exercise certification required.
    • Multiple Group Exercise certifications/specializations preferred.
    • CPR/AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen required within 60 days of hire.

    CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Must obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR/AED, and Emergency Oxygen certifications within 60 days of hire.
    • Upon hire YMCA certifications to include: Orientation to Healthy Living at the Y AND Listen First within 10 days of hire; Healthy Lifestyles & Principles AND YMCA Foundations of Strength and Conditioning within 30 days of hire.
    • Must complete additional Y required trainings as assigned including Child Abuse Prevention, Blood Borne Pathogen, etc.
