JOB DESCRIPTION:

COULD YOU BE OUR NEXT LIFE SAFETY SERVICE TECHNICIAN SUPERSTAR?

THE OPPORTUNITY

• You will need to be mechanically inclined. You will provide service to Life safety equipment.
• You will inspect, test, provide maintenance and repairs to Life Safety Equipment to include extinguishers, hoses, Wet and dry sprinkler systems
• You will also provide appropriate documentation ensuring accurate testing, inspection and repair.  
• A basic knowledge of regulatory standards pertaining to State, OSHA, NFPA guidelines, is a plus. 
• You will assist with shipping and receiving where necessary You also will need to have a strong desire to succeed.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• We require 1-2 years’ experience in the Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Repair of Life Safety Equipment.
• Ability to repair and service equipment sold by Vallen.
• Current Motor Vehicle License with good driving record.
• TWIC card is a plus as well.
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Able to complete repairs and maintenance of equipment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Able to provide assistance, advice and training to Vallen associates and plant personnel.
