Principal Duties and Responsibilities: You will be working with the team developing and supporting the sustainment solutions that support Gulfstream Product Support applications. This internship provides an opportunity to interface with many different departments across the enterprise.  Primary duties will include assisting the core team to develop, test and document. Within the internship, you may be tasked with developing business processes, gathering requirements, investigating trouble tickets from the business, writing and executing test scripts, and data analysis.  This position assists the ERP team that is responsible for supporting Business Technology Solutions, and sustaining activities across all business units. A large focus of the team will be ensuring the integrity of the Global template and identifying, scoping and delivering on continuous improvement opportunities. The position supports knowledge of Gulfstreamâ??s lean techniques combined with knowledge of Gulfstream business processes, identifies where process improvements can be made, identifies solutions, creates the business case and works with business to function specification along with development team if needed.  1. Assists the ERP core team with delivering business process that provides the appropriate functionality to change and sustain the business. Assists in troubleshooting issues with a portfolio of applications. 2. Helps team to identify where process improvements can be made and works with ERP team to create the business case for each initiative. Assists team with making improvements in functionality. Assists the team with developing functional specifications and working with the development team to address any changes once they are approved 3. Learns how new processes impact the business and organizational change management from an ERP perspective. 4. Using process mapping, lean six sigma and continuous improvement, learns and applies these principles to functional business areas. 5. Assists with reporting needs of the business and develops an understanding of the reporting tools available in the suite and how to apply them. 6. Helps to coordinate the resolution of process-related trouble tickets from Live sites with the assistance of team members. 7. Works with on-going implementation team to support them in issue resolution and ensures they adhere to the programâ??s commonality standard. Education and Experience Requirements:  1. Currently pursuing a bachelor or masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or a closely related field of study. 2. Junior level or above. 3. Knowledge of programming, analysis and debugging of code. PL/SQL, Java, JSP or other N-tiered development; Crystal or similar reporting; Exposure to SQL and to relational databases such as SQL server, My SQL, Oracle, MariaDB 4. Ability to be a self-starter, motivated to figure out resolutions to complex problems 5. Candidate will be working in a team environment and will need to have the ability to jump in an be a part of the team 6. Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation. 7. Must be able to work at least 16 hours per week. 32 hours preferred. 8.
