Quality Engineering Intern-Summer 2018 in GAC Savannah Unique Skills: See job description Principal Duties and Responsibilities: This position would assist in standardizing our quality organization. An intern can expect to work on a department project that would document our current processes for Certification of Aircraft and organize them in accordance with AS9100 standards. The following duties can also be expected to be accomplished: - Close coordination with Engineering, Static Test, Flight test, FAA and Aircraft Certification. - Preparation/assist FAA representatives for conformity of test articles and aircraft. - Miscellaneous tools and macro generation to improve process and data management. Additional functions: - Demonstrates acceptance of responsibility - Shows pride in work performed - Demonstrates flexibility in acceptance of assignments and schedules - Maintains professional behavior and appearance - Exhibits dependability - Actively works to improve daily processes and ensures all work meets customer requirements. - Continues learning and developing knowledge of application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in assigned field of expertise. - Performs other duties as assigned.
