    About this role

    We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college/graduate student to join our Human Resources team for the summer of 2024!

    The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

    Key Responsibilities

    As a Human Resources intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to, activities and tasks listed below:

    • Interact with the HR team members and plant leadership to support the business needs
    • Facilitate hourly and salaried engagement and recognition activities
    • Develop standardized processes for key employment and labor relations programs
    • Benchmark and deploy creative and sustainable ways of hourly staffing
    • Develop and deliver training for front-line leaders
    • Other special projects as needed

    Required Qualifications

    • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Behavior, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields
    • 3.0 or higher GPA
    • Applicant must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Pursuing Masters degree in related field
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Self-driven and proactive
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
    • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
