weight-management products in the world. POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT: The
Direct Sourcing Internship is a project-oriented work assignment
designed to offer hands-on sourcing and procurement experience within
the Global Sourcing team. The assignment is designed to expose the
intern to negotiation skills, strategy setting, and analytics, and the
overall role Sourcing plays within Herbalife. DETAILED
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES - Identify the source of data in Agile and
Oracle system - Provide business requirements to IS team - Ensure
projects are moving on time for completion and GSS expectations are met
- Resolve day-to-day issues between departments. - Assist in the
implementation of a new online booking tool for travel - Support
energy/utility benchmarking and fact gathering - Assist with site walks
and research for energy incentives from utility companies and the
government - Assist in drafting a proposal for a capital project to
obtain found energy incentives - Assist in contract gathering for the
Indirect Sourcing team - Provide general financial analysis to support
Technology, Marketing, MRO, and Professional Services - Other duties as
assigned - REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Skills: - Sharp analytical and
judgment skills - Excellent interpersonal skills - Strong business
acumen - Clear communicator with self-confidence - MS Office proficient,
specifically MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint - Good time management
is a must - Work independently and proactively Experience: - 01 years of
related (internship) experience - Working in a team environment outside
of the classroom Education: - A current sophomore and junior level
student in an undergraduate program pursuing a Bachelors degree majoring
in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management (Logistics,
Operations Management, Supply Chain), or other related major - Recently
graduated Senior within the past 6 months or a current graduate student
in a graduate degree program also considered. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a self-managed, hard-working, self-motivated individual. -
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient with MS
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Previous experience with Oracle preferred.
