POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for a variety of processing duties according to batch record and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the manufacturing department including but not limited to weighing, granulation, compression, blending and coating. DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Report process or equipment problems to supervisor, performs minor or basic troubleshooting. Ensure batch records equipment log books and other relevant records are current. Set-up and operate equipment for processing operations. Clean and maintain processing rooms and equipment. Monitor process and equipment and make necessary adjustments to maintain batch record specifications. Follow established department GMPs, SOPs and batch record instructions. Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations. Monitor product quality. Perform other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Skills: Communicating clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Comply with all safety rules and regulations. Experience: Working independently as well as in a team environment. Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPS) Food and Drug Administration (FDA) other regulatory. Experience using high Speed Mixer, Dryers, Fitz mill, Sweco, scales and tablet presses. Prefer 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment
