    The SENIOR D365 APPLICATION DEVELOPER will work as part of the Enterprise team supporting projects, development and infrastructure teams. The candidate must have expert knowledge of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, using X++ to create customized solutions with D365 that follow industry best practices, and have working knowledge of various accounting functions and modules within Dynamics including AP, AR, GL, Asset Management, Treasury, Dynamics Entity Management, and management reporter. Experience working with finance teams. This position will work closely with the finance departments to gather requirements, recommend best practices and perform solution analysis both for future enhancements. This position will also be the Tier 2 escalation for technical issues with the Dynamics 365 environment.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Ensures that the D365 implementation and customizations are effectively designed, implemented, integrated and maintained in support of business goals and objectives. This duty is performed about 25% of the time.
    2. Provide tier 2 escalation on issues relating to D365. This duty is performed about 25% of the time.
    3. Performs in a technical leadership role regarding D365, includes working independently and providing thought leadership. This duty is performed about 30% of the time.
    4. Assists and coordinates with 3rd-party vendors for custom extensions and application suites and reviewing their code for quality and standards. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.
    5. Performs in a technical leadership role regarding D365, includes working independently and providing thought leadership. This duty is performed about 10% of the time.
    6. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

    Required Skills

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals; Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.  MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane, algebra, solid geometry and trigonometry.  USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS Network engineering and support, telecom engineering/support and comprehensive management of computer applications/programming and analysis, tech lead, database analyst iii, policy lead, staff, development/implementation and/or program manager. SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED Advanced: 10-Key, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Database, Programming Languages  ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE SKILLS Expert level skill in standard productivity tools

    Required Experience

     EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 5 years related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
