    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Executive Director of Admissions is responsible for transforming and evolving the Admissions Support Center (ASC) companywide to be a service driven, measurably effective department that manages patient access seamlessly and integrates with all RBH programs. 

     

    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Design and implement proven, and efficient admissions functions across the organization.

     

    1. Assess, train, track, and mentor managers/supervisors so they in turn can lead admissions support staff.

      1. Build and lead a customer focused, well informed, and engaged team which is aligned with Rogers cultural values and habits.
      2. Serves as a resource and is visible and available to front-line staff on a daily basis.
      3. Assures admissions team is informed of regulatory, process, and system changes with ongoing education with team members.
      4. Develops and promotes team-building relationships and a culture of connection between teammates across roles, sites, and levels of care.
      5. Increases employee, provider, and referent engagement.
    2. Leverage advanced technology to enable the company to use multiplatform, HIPAA compliant communication venues (phone, email, text, and other messaging technology.)

      1. Ensures that phones and multiplatform systems are meeting established KPIs.

      2. Utilize data from technology platforms to evaluate trends and improve admissions processes and operational efficiency to proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives for quicker access to treatment, with:

        • Increased call answer rate and screenings per day
        • Daily admissions in line with or exceed industry standards.
      3. Collaborate with leadership to implement plans for the infrastructure of systems, processes, and people for the growth objectives of the organization.

    3. Work with RBH Corporate leadership including clinical, medical, regulatory, UM, compliance and quality to design and implement cutting edge and exemplary customer services systems, policies, and procedures.

      1. Develop a plan collaboratively with executive leadership to bring these standards into practice across the organization daily.
      2. Assure timely and accurate flow of information with high visibility of data from the admissions department.
      3. Work closely with RBH Corporate leadership, ASC director/managers, as well as nursing and medical staff, to create a seamless and customer-centric, exceptional front door experience that sets the stage for a positive treatment experience at RBH, and yields high customer satisfaction ratings.
    4. Unite the ASC and Outreach functions to help deliver consistent business growth.

      1. Ensure a focus on high impact activities that drive referrals and efficient admissions processes.
      2. Identify operational and capacity issues that create barriers to patient flow.
      3. Support ongoing relationships with new and existing key referents and internal stakeholders.
      4. Implement admissions best practices and communication flow to maintain a highly satisfied referent base.

     

     

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

      1. Minimum five to ten years of multi-state/national admissions management experience required.
      2. Extensive Call Center/Admissions leadership experience with proven success track record.
      3. Metrics-driven decision making with technical competence in using data to diagnose, manage, improve, and motivate staff toward optimal performance.
      4. Industry specific technology and management experience required (50% leadership; 50% technology)
      5. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related behavioral health science required. Technology experience required . Master’s degree preferred.
