OPPORTUNITY: We are a folding carton manufacturing operation seeking candidates to join the Augusta Mill as a Maintenance E&I Associate. The Maintenance E&I Associate starting a rate of pay is $24.72 for external candidates and $27.71 for internal candidates. JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for dependable people with excellent problem-solving, learning, communication and teamwork skills to fill our Maintenance Associate position. This position will assist journeyman-level E&I in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently.
Duties for the Maintenance E&I Associate include, but are not restricted to, electrical circuit troubleshooting & repair, conduit & wire installation, lighting repair, PLC troubleshooting & repair, drive troubleshooting & repair, Instrumentation & control valve calibration, troubleshooting & repair, and HVAC work.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.
Understands importance of and complies with Mill and department safety and environmental policies, procedures and practices
Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates
Troubleshooting and servicing all production and support equipment within the facility in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring minimal downtime.
Provides technical support by operating a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions within the mill.
Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and/or installations.
