Hexcel is currently seeking an Account Representative for our Pottsville, PA, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Responsible for providing customer service support to Hexcel customers by providing quotation responses, order entries, maintaining communications with various Hexcel sales locations, and providing status information. The Account Representative will interact and liaison with various departments to communicate customer needs. Coordinate lead-time and availability with production planning, verify product specification and approval for manufacture and sale of material(s), adhere to contractual agreements, and ensure appropriate price is utilized via review of contract, historical, or confirmation with Product Manager. Maintain electronic files for order activities per Customer Service procedures. Ensure any sales and/or business updates are communicated through PM/Forecast Analyst. Follow-up with customers to quoted materials and forecast requirements and supply feedback to management in a timely manner. Must utilize customer electronic systems (Portal systems) as necessary to identify customer demand and Hexcel backlog commitments to respective customers as normal state of business. Must be familiar with MRP systems and/or (AX2012) for purchase order entry in Hexcel's manufacturing environment. Adhering to International Trade Compliance (ITC)/Legal obligations, including completion of Export Screening Checklist, maintenance of electronic documentation supporting quotation and orders, and document retention requirements. Verify Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) are in place for materials being quoted and/or sold internationally, including requests of ECCN for new part numbers. Providing direct line of support to customer(s), as the key point of contact for the customer/supplier relationship. Interact with appropriate manufacturing department for customer and drive changes to customer orders. Communicate shipment delays to customer(s) due to credit related issues, and adjust orders as needed. Supplying new/potential customers with Hexcel required documents, including completion and routing instructions, to request establishing an account with Hexcel, and provision for evaluation of payment terms by the Credit Department. Review status of customer credit and work with Credit Department to ensure any credit issues are resolved prior to order entry/acceptance. Liaising with Quality Assurance (QA) to communicate specification change updates which affect customer orders, to customers, and update orders accordingly. Request configuration of new part numbers through QA/Engineering, with support of Product Manager. Maintain status of warranty claims for customers, to ensure that actions are being taken, and communicate material return requirements status of claim, and provide copy of credit note, to the customer(s), as appropriate. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. One or more years related experience and or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze and communicate customer and internal specifications, orders and customer requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excel in a cross functional team. Microsoft Office Proficiency - specifically in Word and Excel. Prior MRP/ERP experience is preferred.
