The Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting the Secure Issuance Marketing team with marketing campaign planning and execution for the Secure Issuance Business Unit. The marketing specialist will work with the global marketing team, as well as the regional teams on campaign priorities, plans, and developing demand creation programs. The qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of B2B marketing strategy and have experience in a B2B marketing role with responsibilities including: campaign planning, aligning reputation building, demand creation for new customer acquisition, as well as retention; campaign analytics; lead qualification/nurturing. A demonstrated ability to leverage the power of digital marketing in demand creation is important. This position will report to the Director of Marketing for the SI BU and will work in partnership with the Marketing Managers and Channel Marketing Managers. The Marketing Specialist will also work closely with other functional areas such as: Finance, Sales, Product Marketing, Channel Program and Sales Operations. This is an exciting, fast-paced position with the opportunity to work on the full breadth of marketing activities at one time. A self-starter with a background in marketing, content development, digital marketing experience, and/ or agency experience would be ideally suited to this position. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supports the overall SI BU marketing department Works closely with the marketing manager and channel marketing manager on campaign execution, lead management, content creation and budget management. Works with the global marketing organization in the areas of demand gen, digital, creative services and marketing operations Works well with a variety of marketing technologies and tools and is able to follow outlined procedures for campaign execution, budgeting and creative request Assist with maintaining budgets in Smartsheet Assist with management of translation requests Assist with new campaign set up Reconciles monthly marketing budgets Prepares PowerPoint presentations utilizing marketing analytics Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or business 2 years of experience in B2B marketing communications / demand generation / integrated marketing preferred, with experience in the security industry a plus Knowledge of and experience with Marketing automation, Web content management, analytics and business intelligence (reporting and analysis tools) Experience supporting sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with other team members, customers, sales, etc. Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities High self-motivation with a sense of urgency Knowledge of and experience with budget management, preferably in Smartsheets or Excel Ability to travel as required, including possible global travel Language Skills Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing. Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc. Computer Skills Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc. Customer Expectations Highlight knowledge, skills, abilities and traits necessary in this role to satisfy our customer's expectations Candidate must have the ability to understand end-user needs and communicate in an effective, relevant manner; in the right voice and media.
