  • Responsibilities

    The Analytics Lead will implement and support Analytics & Reporting solutions for the corporate functions and operating companies of Apergy. The incumbent will support the business users of the applications with the issue resolutions, enhancements, software upgrade management, software system administration, configuration and informational requests for these applications. The incumbent will also develop and maintain, processes/procedures for supporting systems of low to high complexity.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Essential functions may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics.     • Perform all tasks related to the day-to-day operations of Analytics & Reporting applications including managing users, administration, customizations, enhancements, data management and other support activities of tools like Tableau, EIS, Enterprise Datawarehouse and other such tools
    • Perform analysis of business needs, develop related documentation and provide a solution that meets the analytics & reporting needs of the customer while maintaining the standards
    • Coordinate with the solution providers on upgrades and other needs for the solution
    • Import and export data from other business systems including developing integrations between systems
    • Create and maintain data integrity, reviewing data on a regular basis
    • Configure, administer, maintain and support development, test and production environments.
    • Create/Design and update users, roles, permission sets, and profiles to ensure system security
    • Design, create and deploy reports and dashboards to analyze key metrics, utilizing data from multiple sources
    • Develop and maintain user documentation and release communications.
    • Troubleshoots problems and recommends appropriate action.
    • Drives and contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.
    • Coaches and mentors less experienced analysts.
    • Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
    • Other duties as required.

    Required Skills

    • Two years or more in providing Analytical & Reporting technical solutions
    • Extensive experience in developing Analytics & Reporting solutions especially using Tableau & EIS
    • Experience in developing SQL queries and integration with an ERP system
    • Strong oral/written communication skills, analytical skills.

    Preferred

    • Experience with configuration management and administration of Tableau & DataWarehouse
    • Experience with development of a Datawarehouse using data from Oracle EBS

    Required Experience

    • Four or more years of relevant experience.

    EDUCATION, LICENSING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

    • _Required: _Four year college or university degree.
