JOB DESCRIPTION:
The HR Intern will actively engage in activities and projects across the HRIS, Benefits, Comp and HR Services COE’s. The learning experience will include supporting the administration and coordination of HR related functions across employee life cycle activities and tasks, along with gaining generalist experience and system experience in various HR specific systems, tools, policies and projects.
Within HR Services:
Assist with pre-/onboarding new hires (background check, orientation support, new hire documents, Form I 9 processing, etc)
Responsible for handling incoming Tier 1 employee cases and inquiries against customer SLA’s and expectations.
Communications & local HR Event based activities (including management of HR to HR Link)
Provide objective feedback on ease of use for HR Connect and recommendations for improvement
Within Benefits COE:
Support Benefits Team and update communications
Research new benefit trends and feasibility to our current offerings
Support the analysis and reconciliation of employee elections and payroll withholdings
Within Compensation COE:
Evaluate role descriptions for benchmarking and participate in salary surveys
Active support in new recognition vendor implementation
Within HRIS COE:
Enhance process documentation and training materials for workday services
Data entry and security support via workday transactions and reporting
Within Analytics COE:
Analyze and review the data within Workday for consistency and accuracy
Meet with HR COEs to understand reporting needs and translate such to requirements for HRIS implementation
Qualifications/Requirements
Pursuing a degree in HR or Business
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a highly dynamic environment
Exceptional and proactive follow up
Analytical skills and committed to excellence in service and performance
Technically oriented and proficient in the use of Google products (Sheets, Slides, and Docs)
Must be a team player, communicative and collaborate well
Ability to multitask and maintain a strict level of confidentiality
