Analyst-Supply Chain HUSCO International, Inc. - Waukesha, WI This
position is located in Waukesha, WI POSITION SUMMARY Husco provides

are responsible for quoting, negotiating final pricing, and securing
mutually beneficial sourcing agreements with supplier candidates for new
business. The Supply Chain Analyst will also assist the Materials
Manager and the Supply Chain Manager in developing and enhancing
supplier relationships, cost avoidance events, and developing overall
commodity strategies. A successful Supply Chain Analyst is
self-motivated and a natural trouble-shooter who is able to react
quickly under pressure, prioritize and manage several tasks

the world PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES * Quoting and Negotiating Component
Price/Supply Contract language. Work closely with the global supply base
in quoting components and, when appropriate, negotiate final program
prices and critical supply contract language. * Manage Supplier
Relations. Oversee key supplier relationships balancing the needs and
performance expectations of Husco operations / purchasing / engineering
/ quality organizations with the suppliers specific challenges and
unique culture. * Participate in Identifying and Qualifying Suppliers.
Working under the direction of Supply Management, Quality and
Engineering leadership identify and qualify new sources of supply to
keep pace with rapid business growth and new applied technology tracts.
- Support Cost Reduction and Cost Avoidance Events. Participate in Six
Sigma activities and/or other project formats focused on reducing
component costs via design improvements, logistics, enhancing process
efficiency or other continuous improvement effort. * Purchasing Strategy
Development. Assist in developing detailed long term world class
strategies around key purchasing department initiatives. * Strong Team
Player and Contributor. Able to work well with colleagues and produce
results within a fast-paced and high pressure atmosphere. Combine strong
attention to detail with an orientation towards results/execution.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * College Degree or equivalent. * A minimum of
two (2) years of experience in purchasing in a repetitive manufacturing
environment with a working knowledge of MRP/ERP. * Negotiation skills
required. * CPIM or CPM, desirable. * Exhibit good judgment, common
sense, leadership and decision making skills and abilities. * Must be
flexible and able to handle multiple and varied tasks. * Must have
strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with other
functional areas as follows: Operations, Design Engineering, Production
Planning and Inventory Control and Sales. * Effective trouble shooting,
problem solving and organizational skills. Able to handle frequent
interruptions, meet tight deadlines and handle conflict in an effective
manner. * Experience with Microsoft Office products. Accurate
typing/computer data entry with above average attention to detail. *
(Authorized to work in the United States.) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * In a
standard workday, this person will be required to sit 50%, stand 20%,
walk 20%, squat or kneel, twist, and drive/travel 10%. * Will lift from
1 to 35 pounds. Lifting may include miscellaneous materials if required.
- Fine manipulation is needed for PC work and use of other office
equipment. * Visual requirements include ability to read and follow
directions. This person may come in contact with office hazards:
temperature and humidity are normal for this position and there are no
unusual atmospheric conditions. Will be required to wear personal
protective equipment in posted areas of the plant, including safety
glasses, ear plugs, and safety shoes * Total awareness of the plant
environment as it pertains to the safety of other employees, operation
of equipment, handling of equipment/materials, and visitors required.
