    Job Description

Are you a technology "versatileist" ready to bridge the gap between IT and the business? As a GTS Specialist, you are much more than a technician; you are a critical advocate for digital workplace technologies and a liaison for our operations. In this role, you will move beyond basic maintenance to become a driver of innovation. You will manage the full lifecycle of endpoint devices and local site infrastructure while championing the automation and cybersecurity standards that keep us resilient and future-ready.

    What You’ll Do

    • Enable the Smart Factory: Partner with manufacturing teams and our own FIT team to implement and sustain Industry 4.0 technologies. You will ensure the resilience of industrial networks (OT), manage specialized manufacturing endpoints, and support the data flows that power our real-time production insights.

    • Be the Technical Bridge: Provide expert support for both Corporate IT and Factory IT (FIT) infrastructure. You’ll ensure high availability for everything from office laptops to critical manufacturing shop-floor systems.

    • Master the Asset Lifecycle: Take full ownership of IT assets—procurement, provisioning, and decommissioning. You’ll ensure our inventory (CMDB) is flawless and our software licenses are optimized.

    • Champion Automation & Self-Service: Collaborate with our regional teams to identify manual tasks that can be automated. You’ll help us shift from reactive "firefighting" to proactive, self-healing operations.

    • Advocate for Security & Best Practices: Act as a technical advisor to local management, delivering training on IT standards and cybersecurity to ensure our workforce is digitally fluent and secure.

Why You Are Perfect for This Role

    • You Are a "Versatilist": You have a broad range of skills and a "can-do" attitude. You don’t say, "That’s not my department"; you say, "Let me find a way to solve this."

    • You Are Automation-First: You hate doing the same manual task twice. You are always looking for a way to use tools like ServiceNow or RPA to make work simpler and faster.

    • You Display Self-Leadership: You thrive when given the latitude to make decisions. You can work with minimal guidance, showing the agility needed to manage a complex regional site.

    • You are Customer-Centric: You don’t just fix computers; you improve the Digital Employee Experience (DEX). You listen to business needs and translate them into technical solutions that actually work for people.

    • You Bridge the IT/OT Divide: You are just as comfortable troubleshooting a server in a data center as you are supporting an industrial scanner on a noisy factory floor.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    What You Bring

    • Deep Technical Depth: 3–5 years of experience troubleshooting computer, server, and network systems. You have a solid grasp of networking (LAN/WAN) and hardware technology.

    • Digital Fluency: You are an expert in modern collaboration tools (Google Workspace) and have a foundational understanding of Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity standards.

    • Communication Mastery: You can explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned. (Bilingual in Spanish is a plus)

    • The ITIL Mindset: You understand the value of the process. You use ITIL best practices to optimize incident resolution and problem prevention.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology is a major plus.

    • Experience: 3–5 years in IT/OT operations, ideally within a large multinational or manufacturing environment.

    • Physical & Availability: Must be able to work in a plant environment, lift heavy objects occasionally, and participate in a 24-hour on-call support rotation.

Certifications: ITIL Foundation training is highly valued.
