  • Responsibilities

    In this role, you will apply what you've learned in school to assist with ERP JDE improvements with regard to data inputs and data collection for Det-Tronics. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager, collaborating with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Production Team, and IT Team.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

    • Assist the site Quality Engineer to the improve data collection during all written Nonconformance's
    • Write design specifications for a developer to implement
    • Test developers changes prior to launch.
    • Help document all changes and develop training guides and processes for the organization to follow prior to implementation.
    • Research and validate data integrity with regards to the following: Supplier on-time delivery, Factory on-time delivery, Warranty resolutions, Rework and Repair resolutions.
    • Automate Customer Cert process and Tracking of Serialization
    • Focus on process improvements
    • Other duties as assigned

    REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related
    • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
    • Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong Analytics background
    • Exposure to IT programming and specification design (ERP JDE preferred)
    • Writing reports (reports now)
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • MS Office proficient
    • Ability to troubleshoot and repair Electronic (PCB and Interconnect), Electro-mechanical, and light mechanical equipment
    • Ability to read schematics, mechanical Cad drawings
    • COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees
    • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
