JOB DESCRIPTION:

In our program you will have the opportunity to own your own projects, participate in meetings, and work cross-functionally with other departments.

GAF is looking for an IT Service Management Intern. The ideal candidate for this role is majoring in Computer Science or Business. Strong knowledge of Google Workspace Applications. The intern would be responsible for exposure within all areas of IT Service Management as well as working with other interns identifying the IT Charity project. Utilizing our ServiceNow tool to support Incident, Problem and Change request tickets, Jira, reporting, AODocs, DevOps, Robotic Process Automation and Data & Process Mining.

JOB DUTIES:

• IT Charity Project for the IT Summer Interns

  • June - Identify charity and plan for Charity drive

  • July - Execute charity drive - communication and tracking

  • August - Close out of event

• Exposure within the following areas:

  • IT - Service Management

  • ServiceNow - Development Areas

  • Change Management

  • CM Team Meetings

  • CAB Meeting

  • Jira

  • Incident / Problem

  • DevOps

  • AODocs

  • Google Workspace

• Robotic Process Automation / Data & Process Mining

  • Automating manual processes through the use of RPA technology

  • Participate in the Life Cycle of the development of RPA use cases - Use Case Selection - Elicitation - Documentation - Development - Implementation

  • Value Realization - Observe the benefits of solution

  • Data & Process Mining

REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent communication skills are all necessary as is the ability to operate in a team. The successful candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and an anticipated graduation date between December 2023 and May 2025.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, without visa sponsorship now and in the future.

All GAF internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however, there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 37.5 hours per week over the summer. Transportation, F-1 and HB-1 visa sponsorship will not be provided in association with these positions.
