Primary Responsibilities For Role * Manages planning activities for the Clinical Genomics business. * Works with key stakeholders to assess relevant business factors, develops and implements inventory strategies to meet evolving business needs. * Uses quantitative tools (MRP, Excel) to determine build plans and drive scenario planning. * Identifies and drives initiatives to generate efficiency, cost reduction and continuous improvement in operations. * Provides detail analysis and product life cycle planning with risk assessment amp; implications to senior management and/or cross-functional teams to drive optimal decision making * Operates with a high level of independence, develops monitoring processes and mechanisms to proactively identify issues impacting inventory health. Defines resolution plans and leads cross-functional efforts to resolve issues. * Is a proactive, flexible contributor in support of an evolving set of initiatives and priorities * Builds a culture of credibility and data-driven decision making. * Avoids one size fits all thinking; balances finding the right solution at the product level with leveraging enterprise consistency and scalability * Identifies, tracks and improves pertinent KPIs that are meaningful to grow his/her area of responsibility. * Provides prompt and clear communication and guidance to the regions on the product life cycle and projects. * Maintains purchase orders, product specification * Leads coordination and closure of quality system events as required (including: deviations, CAPAs, and change controls) Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities * Demonstrates strong ownership for success * Collaborative: Thrives being a team-player * High demonstrated learning agility * Not afraid to step up and lead outside of immediate area of expertise * Brings experience managing supply chain activities across the different stages of the product lifecycle * Strong knowledge of industry standard practices in inventory management theory and product lifecycle management Education * Pursuing a Master's degree in engineering, business, or relevant fields. Experience * Some practical experience in supply chain-related function (planning, distribution, logistics) desired * Extensive experience on planning, MRP * Knowledge of supply chain and product life cycle planning. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply results to resolve business issues * Exercises strong written and clear/consistent verbal communication skills * Demonstrates project management and execution skills * Extensive functional knowledge of SAP, advanced skills in Excel * APICS certification desired This role is located in Foster City, CA.nbsp; Candidates can apply to intern roles through October 31st, at which time they will be removed from posting.nbsp; Please save the job description for all roles to which you applied, in order to reference once the postings are removed.
