We are seeking an innovative, data-driven, results-oriented leader to contribute to our continued legacy as a summer intern. Below are some of the ways you will contribute to our team.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyze and determine best equipment setup and process flow for maximizing fabrication of parts within a high volume manufacturing environment
    • Organize and conduct observation and analysis of personnel and work procedures to determine motion and time requirements within specific job duties
    • Develop and improve manufacturing methods, fabrication processes, tooling, assembly methods, and quality control standards in an effort to improve productivity and reduce cost structure
    • Participate in Lean / Kaizen projects in the areas of workstation layout, productivity, safety, and quality

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
    • COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong initiative, interpersonal, and team skills
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • The ability to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure
    • Solid analytical skills
    • Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory and work with concepts such as limits, rings, quadratic and differential equations, and proofs of theorems

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in an approved program in mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, or related engineering discipline.
    • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
    • Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
