PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Each intern is presented a real business challenge within their group that provides the opportunity to exchange ideas with subject matter experts for optimal learning and development that leads to real solutions. However, we aren’t ALL business. Throughout the semester, our University Relations team hosts exclusive events such as featured executive lunch & learns, plant tours, personal & professional development sessions and intern socials.

YOUR ROLE

As an Information Systems Intern, you will assist the Logistics team with the following:

• Compare and contrast software solutions to be utilized for capturing and storing digital bills of lading

• Analyze existing systems and offer solutions for integration with 3rd party software

• Working with the team on support tickets and access request

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, MIS, or related fields

• Minimum 3.0 GPA

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Organizational skills

• Self-starter, motivated

• Previous internship experience

• Working knowledge of

  • Restful API’s

  • Object Oriented Programming

  • JSON

  • XML

  • Excel

  • Data Visualization

  • SQL, MYSQL, etc...
